Corrections Policy

Corrections Policy

NovaKhabar is committed to accuracy in everything we publish. When we make a factual error, we correct it as quickly as possible and are transparent about the change.

How We Handle Corrections

Minor corrections (typos, formatting issues, minor date/number errors that don’t change the substance of a story) are fixed directly in the article without a separate note.

Substantive corrections (errors that affect the meaning, facts, or conclusions of a story, such as an incorrect figure, misattributed quote, or wrong outcome) are handled as follows:

  1. The article is updated with the correct information as soon as we’re able to verify it
  2. A visible correction note is added at the bottom of the article in the following format: “Correction ([date]): This article originally stated [X]. It has been corrected to reflect [Y].”
  3. The article’s “last updated” date is revised to reflect when the correction was made

Reporting an Error

If you believe an article on NovaKhabar contains a factual error, please contact us at contact@novakhabar.com with the article link and a description of the issue. We review all correction requests and aim to respond within 48 hours.

Developing Stories

Some of our coverage, particularly on IPOs, stock market movements, breaking news, and government notifications, involves information that can change quickly. Where a story is still developing, we note this within the article itself and update it as confirmed information becomes available, rather than issuing it as a full correction.

For our broader approach to sourcing and fact-checking, see our Editorial Standards page.
